Yellow Line

Yellow Line of Delhi metro is one of the major lines of the Delhi Metro which is also known as a rapid transit system in Delhi, India. The line started from Samaypur Badli in Delhi to HUDA City Centre which is located in the neighbouring city of Gurgaon. The line with a total length of 48.8 kilometers and is mostly all underground.
The Delhi metro line consists of almost 37 metro stations.

The line has been laid all under one combined of the most major and congested parts of the capital city. The overall 4 kilometers underground stretch from Vishwa Vidyalaya-Kashmere Gate, the first section of the line was invented on 20 December in the year 2004. It is considered as the 2nd longest metro line on the overall Delhi Metro network. This line almost covers all the major areas such as Outer Delhi, North Delhi, via Central Delhi and South Delhi and finally Gurgaon city.

The Yellow line has further interchanges with the Red, Blue and Violet lines of the major Delhi Metro system. The line also links at the Old Delhi and New Delhi railway stations of Northern Railways. The Line also links with the Airport Express Line at the most crowded New Delhi station. Chawri Bazar is another most deepest station of the Delhi Metro network. The metro station is located approximately 30 metres (98 ft) below the ground level and has almost around 18 escalators which has the most in any of the Delhi Metro station in capital city.

Blue Line

The Blue Line of one of the major Delhi Metro system in the capital city usually consists of 44 metro stations which commenced from Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida City Centre (Sector 32) with a total length of 51.35 km and a branch line comprises of 7 stations from Yamuna Bank to Vaishali that has constructed with a length of 8.85 kilometers.

The Dwarka-Barakhamba Road section of the metro line was firstly inaugurated by the former honorable Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh and the line was for the first time opened to the public on New Year's Day of the year 2006. It is the considered as the longest line which is currently running on the Delhi Metro network.

Green Line

Delhi metro has reduces the hassle of daily travelling from place to another. Green line route of Delhi metro is the broad gauge which connects total 16 metro stations starting from Inderlok and ended to Mundka following with branch line including Satguru Ramsingh Marg and Kirti Nagar. Commuters can also interchange to green line route from Kirti Nagar which is one of Metro station of blue line route to Mundka. This route has 16 stations and comparatively from other routes of Delhi metro this green line route is shorter with the total length of 18.46 km. Violet Line

Violet line of Delhi metro is most busiest and popular route for the passengers because the stations of this route are nearby many offices, shopping centres, market and entertainment places. Earlier, this route covers 18 Metro stations and travel 20.16 km in one round. Now, the route has extended from ITO to Escorts Mujesar which covers 35.7 km and in future it will reach to Ballabhgarh. Orange Line

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has also constructed airport line which takes passengers directly to airport without any hassle and comfortably. Airport line is also called as orange line which starts from New Delhi metro station and ended at Dwarka Sector 21. This Metro line is most advance one as compare to other Metro route lines. Now passengers don’t have to get worry about how to reach airport and catch flights on time. Now you don’t have to book cabs or wait for public buses or rickshaw to reach airport. Board this airport line of Delhi Metro to ignore the Delhi traffic and reach airport directly without any hassle. This orange line consists of total 6 Metro stations starting from New Delhi to Shivaji Stadium, Dhaula Kuan, Delhi Aerocity, IGI Airport (T-3) and ended to Dwarka Sector 21. This Metro route covers about 22.7 km of total length.

Delhi metro airport express line has top class amenities where passengers can get WiFi services which is county's second Metro to provide this service at every Metro station of the route. Metro stations comes under airport line consist of various facilities which is provided to passengers are baggage trolleys, wheelchair, lifts, porter services, cafes, ATMs and many more. Passengers can board first airport line Metro from New Delhi metro station at morning 5.30 AM and from Dwarka Sector 21 at 5.15 AM and the last Metro at night from New Delhi metro station at 11.30 PM and Dwarka Sector 21 at 11.15 PM. At 15 minutes of interval passengers can board metro from any of the stations of this route. Passengers have to pay Rs 100 to reach the airport which is permitted only for one way to board flights from both domestic and international terminal.

Passengers also get a facility of check- in at New Delhi Metro station before 2 hours to 6 hours from the schedule departure of Air India and Jet Airways flights. These flights are departed from T3 terminal and international passengers can also experience and enjoy the facility of check- in from New Delhi metro station to make the travelling more convenient.
